Niara Tribe uses Razorpay as its payment gateway provider to process online payments securely. This Payment Gateway Policy explains how payments are handled on niaratribe.com ("Site").
1. Accepted Payment Methods
Through Razorpay, we may accept the following payment methods, subject to availability:
- Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, RuPay, and other supported cards)
- Debit Cards
- UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, and other supported UPI applications)
- Net Banking
- Digital Wallets
- EMI and Pay-Later options (where supported)
- Cash on Delivery (COD) for eligible domestic orders, subject to our Shipping & Delivery Policy
2. Payment Security
All online transactions are processed through Razorpay's secure and PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure using encrypted SSL/TLS connections.
Niara Tribe does not collect, process, or store sensitive payment credentials such as:
- Full card numbers
- CVV numbers
- UPI PINs
- Net banking passwords
- Bank login credentials
Such information is handled directly by Razorpay and the relevant financial institutions.
3. Payment Authorisation & Order Confirmation
All payments are subject to verification and authorisation by Razorpay, your bank, card issuer, UPI provider, or payment service provider.
Your order will be considered confirmed only after:
- Successful payment authorisation, and
- Receipt of confirmation from the payment processor.
If a payment is declined, cancelled, reversed, or fails for any reason, the order will not be processed.
4. Pricing & Currency
All transactions on the Site are processed in Indian Rupees (INR), unless otherwise stated.
If you use an international card or payment method, your bank or payment provider may apply:
- Currency conversion charges
- Foreign transaction fees
- Additional banking charges
These charges are determined by your financial institution and are outside our control.
5. Failed Transactions & Duplicate Charges
In rare circumstances, a payment may be debited while an order remains unconfirmed due to technical issues.
Similarly, duplicate charges may occur because of banking, gateway, or network errors.
In such situations, most banks automatically reverse the transaction within 5–7 business days.
If the amount is not reversed within this period, please contact us with:
- Your order number
- Transaction reference number
- Payment date and amount
We will coordinate with Razorpay to assist in resolving the issue.
6. Refunds
Approved refunds are processed through Razorpay and credited back to the original payment method used during purchase.
Once initiated, refunds generally reflect within 5–7 business days, although processing times may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
Refund eligibility and conditions are governed by our Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy and Terms & Conditions.
7. Fraud Prevention & Verification
To protect our customers and business, transactions may be reviewed for fraud prevention and security purposes.
We reserve the right to:
- Request additional identity or payment verification
- Place an order on hold pending verification
- Cancel transactions that appear suspicious, fraudulent, or unauthorised
Any refund arising from a cancelled order will be processed according to applicable banking and payment-provider timelines.
8. Third-Party Terms
Payments processed through Razorpay are also subject to Razorpay's own terms of service, privacy policy, and operating procedures.
Niara Tribe is not responsible for the actions, systems, policies, delays, or service interruptions of Razorpay or any financial institution involved in processing payments.
